Legislate that the National Health Service cannot be part of any trade deal.
The NHS is a key part of the United Kingdom and our values, and is treasured by the British public. We want the government to legislate that the NHS cannot be part of any trade deal either as part of Brexit or subsequently. This will strengthen the governments hand for negotiations.
The COVID 19 crisis has shown the importance of the NHS to the health, economy, and morale of the country, and is too important to be traded away. By legislating it to be excluded from any trade deals the government will be in a stronger position to negotiate better deals with trading partners that will have support from the public.
