Affirm and protect trans rights, respect GRA reform consultation results
Recognize that the consultation responses reflect public opinion on self-ID, and that it is unacceptable to ignore 70%+ support for Gender Recognition Act reform.
Not further restrict trans rights, access to gender-appropriate public spaces and toilets, or transition-related healthcare.
Access to NHS gender services already has multi-year waiting lists (http://tiny.cc/x0btqz). Any further restriction on trans healthcare is inhumane.
We are behind other countries who have successfully introduced self-ID e.g. Argentina (http://tiny.cc/cjbtqz) and Ireland (http://tiny.cc/dhbtqz)
