Ensure food safety and hygeine standards are in keeping with EU regulations
We need a discussion on the health effects that importing heavily treated and man-made food from the US will have on our population. To ensure that our food standards continue to get better, not worse.
Our population deserves the right to access clean and good quality nutrition.
It is a disgrace to allow companies the power to serve food that is covered in chemicals known to be toxic. We shouldn't need to aks for an ingredients check every time we order food to know it's safe ot put in out children's mouths.
Even now chemicals banned in baby foods are allowed to be sold as food, which many of us may add to baby foods without knowing : carboxymethylcellulose, as an example.
Please progress the development of good nutrition in the UK.
