Petition Action

Make the U-turn and continue the food voucher scheme so no child goes hungry

Petition Details

Standing with Marcus Rashford and his open letter to all MP's we are asking that the government make a U-turn and continue the food voucher scheme, for children from low income families, over the summer holidays. No child should go to bed hungry.

Additional Information

In the words of Marcus Rashford, if the government can do whatever it takes to help the economy recover they should be able to extend that into looking after our most vulnerable children.
With so many hosueholds losing their main, or only income, due to Covid19 the poorest in our society will be hit the hardest and with the furlough scheme coming to an end we need to make sure that no child in England, in 2020, is without food. Please continue free school meals throughout the summer.
