Reversed the Decision to Scrap the Gender Recognition Act Consultation results
The government held a consultation regarding the Gender Recognition Act,
the results were overwhelmingly in favour of improving lives of trans people.
However, the government have decided to ignore this as they feel the results were skewed.
This is unfair and undemocratic!
I have Trans friends and as part of the LGTBQ+ community myself I stand with them. They deserve the healthcare they need and want to feel comfortable in their own skin and as a democratic government the decision to ignore over 100,000 public opinions is hugely undemocratic and a disgrace.
