COVID-19: Change the rules on family visits in hospitals.
To create a plan with processes that will enable families to safely visit loved ones whilst in hospital.
My Grandad 85, is currently in hospital battling 2 (non Covid) viruses. We have been informed by the doctors that visits will only be allowed at end of life. To prevent visits until at this stage, is ridiculous considering non essential shops have now re-opened.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about visitors are a matter for the NHS, not the Government or House of Commons.
On 5 June, the NHS’s suspension of hospital visiting was lifted. This means that visiting is now subject to local discretion by trusts and other NHS bodies. You should check with your maternity team and sonography unit for their policy on visitors attending antenatal appointments, including scans.
