Private e-Scooters use to be legalised on Public Roads
e-Scooters should be made legal to use on Public Roads as a greener way of commuting to save the environment. For short distance travel (e.g travel to store, park, friend or place of work) I would prefer to use scooter rather than car.
Thoughout major cities in the world e-Scooters became very popular mode of transport for leisure and commuting. There are concerns regards safety, however introducing limit speeds for this type of transport would be safe alternative type of transportation.
Setting scooter speed lit to 15mph on roads and bike lanes, would not disturb other vechicle users, and would quite safe to use.
To possibly extend that to pavements so it could be safely used, speed limit on pavements could be set to 8mph.
