Reverse the Decision to Scrap the Gender Recognition Act Consultation Results
The government held a consultation regarding the Gender Recognition Act, asking the general public their opinion on changes to the GRA to improve trans lives.
More than 100,000 responses were given, overwhelmingly in favour of these changes.
Trans lives will be lost if these changes aren't made.
Self-ID, access to healthcare and reducing the time for trans people to access care that allows them to begin their transition needs to be improved.
You held the consultation (2018) and got your results. You MUST follow up on them. Our trans siblings are one of the most vulnerable groups in modern society and face discrimination and often violence at a disproportionate rate. We need you to carry out the results and apply the new guidelines from the consultation like you promised you would!
