No new commission on race until previous recommendations have been implemented.
There should be no further delay in the implementation of the 35 recommendations in the Lammy review, the 110 recommendations in the Angiolini review, the 30 recommendations in the review into the Windrush scandal and the Twenty six recommendations from Baroness McGregor’s review.
Racial inequality in the UK is insidious and is causing suffering amongst communities of Black and Minority Ethnic communities.
As the Government for ALL citizens there should be no further delay in implementing changes which could improve the experience of these communities.
These reports were commissioned by Government and their recommendations should be implemented in full immediately.
