Take away the means tested part of carers allowance for all unpaid carers
Mr Sunak, chancellor of the exchequer please can you make carers allowance non means tested.
It would be in line with DLA/PIP and allow unpaid carers to claim additional support like UC.
Give something back to the unpaid carers who have supported sick, disabled loved ones through this crisis.
Unpaid carers are forgotten, cast into the shadows. Registered carers get paid in 2 hours what we get a week in C A.
