Petition Action

Against the revocation of the Further Education Teachers’ Qualifications, England Regulations (2007)

Additional Information

Please do not revoke the Teaching Regulations which would remove the requirement for teachers in the post compulsory sector to become qualified.

Having qualified teachers leads to a quality service for learners.

It has taken years to professionalise the sector and it would be a great shame to lose it.

Another BIS report (Paper 66), published the same week as the Lord Lingfield Report supports the teaching qualifications.
