Ban arms sales to the Saudi-led intervention in Yemen

Petition Details

The Government needs to stop selling weapons to the Saudi coalition knowing that they are going to be used on civilian targets.1/3 of all airstrikes by the coalition are purposely civilian targets. The Government should stop aiding this inhuman war.

Additional Information

Context: On the 25th of March 2015 Saudi launched an invasion into Yemen with the goal of removing the popular Shia armed group known as "Houthis" out of power and installing a pro Saudi government. This invasion which was meant to take 6-9 weeks has lasted over half a decade. As of now Saudi's coalition is making little to no progress and it has only casued damage to civilains and put over 20 million Yemeni lives in jeopardy with the use of British wepaons.
