Stop the UK sale of arms and military export to Saudi Arabia
Yemen is currently the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with 80% of the population is in need of emergency aid.
Due to the civil war, famine, outbreaks of cholera and Covid-19, and political conflict, Yemen is on the verge of becoming extinct.
Saudi Arabia has entered the conflict by providing military support.
Yet the British government has sold £15 billion worth of weapons and continues to grant military export licence.
The UN states that “the UK may be complicit in committing war crimes by selling weapons and providing support to the Saudi-led coalition which is using the deliberate starvation of civilians as a tactic of warfare”.
The UK must stop all military export and ban the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia.
