Leadership training for all Ministers at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy.

Petition Details

The COVID-19 Global Pandemic has highlighted the lack of Leadership skills in our Ministers.
All Ministers on appointment attend Officer Training Course at The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst this is compulsory unless they have attended previously.

Additional Information

We are now living in unprecedented times and the COVID-19 crisis has been forced upon a new Government without the necessary experience to deal with it.Unlike their predecessors in the last Century who may have served in the military many at Officer rank and some served in World Wars. Sandhurst has been training Officers for 120 Countries and some have become World leaders its time we trained our own Leaders properly.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Admissions to Sandhurst Royal Military Academy would be a matter for the Academy and not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition asking for the Government to require leadership training for Ministers, if that's what you'd like to happen.
