wallace hartley (bandmaster) on the titanic should get awarded a georges cross
Wallace hartley was born in Colne, Lancashire. He was the bandmaster on the (itanic when it sank on the 15th April 1912. Wallace was 33 years old when he died. He was the one that decided the band should play on right till the very end. Only at the last minute did he and the band leave the ship. They're last song was thought to have been nearer to god than thee. Wallace showed courage and committment on the titanic. And all members of the band were branded heroes. Yet 100 years on and they still haven't been given an acolade. They're acolade should be the georges cross!
