Allow transgender people to change their legal sex through self-identification.
It's really hard for trans people to change the gender that they are legally recognised as. It's a lengthy process which can worsen mental health states for transgender individuals. I want to government to make this process easier, so that trans people can change the gender indicator easily.
The current system for getting a legal gender change is lengthy and requires much private information to be shared with complete strangers, who will then decide if they think you're lying. Getting access to all of the references and information that is needed for a gender change is a lengthy process which can cause the mental health of transgender individuals due to the social element of gender dysphoria being worsened by being legally recognised a the gender which they were assigned at birth.
