I will not vote for this government if it increases fuel duty.
I want the government to realise that increasing fuel duty will be political suicide. Nothing else in our economy is taxed at such a high level; currently 80% of the price of fuel is tax, either fuel duty or VAT. An increase is not acceptable. To that end I pledge that I will not vote for either party of this coalition government if it increases fuel duty. I encourage you to think about this issue and if you feel as strongly as I do, sign this petition and send a clear message to this and future governments. "If they increase fuel duty, you will not win the following election".
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
