Change conveyancing in this country to one that provides surety to all parties.
Adopt a conveyancing system similar to the Scottish one. The mental health issues caused by our system is totally avoidable. All searches and surveys should be in place before a property is marketed and vendors be held accountable. Gazumping should be illegal.
My family have recently been stung by the lack of surety when house buying and everyone I speak to agrees things need to change.
Everyone knows how stressful house moves are and it’s one element we can easily address.
