Make it mandatory to wear a face mask in public during the Covid-19 Pandemic
The government is being asked to consider making the wearing of face masks in public mandatory during the pandemic to protect our citizens and reduce the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
According to the latest study from the Science Journal, masks provide a critical barrier in limiting the spread of COVID19, reducing the number of infectious viruses in exhaled breath, especially of asymptomatic people and those with mild symptoms. Wearing a mask in public can reduce the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 .
Masks are necessary to combat asymptomatic spread in aerosols and droplets.
