Make Juneteenth an official public holiday worldwide.
Governments all over the world, to make June 19th (Juneteenth) an official public holiday for everyone to celebrate the end of slavery.
#BlackLivesMatter
The end of slavery should be something to celebrate the world over.
This should be a day of reflection and coming together.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The UK Government isn't responsible for national holidays outside of the UK.
You could start a petition calling for the UK to have a bank holiday on June 19th to mark the end of slavery, if that's what you'd like to see happen. You might also want to sign and share this petition that calls for a bank holiday on August 1st:
