Prevent key workers from paying additional tax to support the furlough programme
As a key worker during the pandemic I have as well as many other key workers continued to work to help ensure we provide the service that the country needed during this difficult situation.
To help key workers not to be penalised by by paying additional/higher rate of tax to support the furlough programme. This would also be a great way to acknowledge the great work and thank all key workers during this pandemic. I do understand that the lockdown was necessary and needed, however it would be very unfair if we have to pay additional tax to help support the furlough programme when we have been the foundation that has kept the country going during this period.
