Allow tattoo studios to reopen from July 6th
Tattooists and piercers are some of the few professionals who are trained to deal with blood-borne pathogens and cross-contamination on a daily basis. We already have been using PPE and hospital grade cleaning procedures for years.
We are health and safety regulated by our councils, and licensed.
We have far more safety regulations already in place than retail stores or hair salons, including regular inspections from the health and safety department.
We feel we are able to offer our clients a far safer environment than any other business.
With this in mind, we urge you to reconsider the delay in reopening, and let us start working from July 6th.
