Petition Action

Waive any Income Tax & National Insurance contribution increases for NHS staff.

Petition Details

The NHS has operated essential services throughout the lockdown period and it’s staff are battered and bruised, some having even lost their lives, from being on the front line throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please protect them for footing the bill for the Jobs Retention Scheme (furloughing).

Additional Information

The Agenda for Change is a poor standard of reimbursement for the life-saving, multifaceted care & treatment, unconditionally given at the Point of Need, by our NHS staff.

Staff are exhausted and battle fatigued from the all-encompassing chaos of the Coronavirus & they are waiting for another decade, or more, of austerity, low pay, food banks & higher taxation in an attempt to recover from the impact of COVID-19. Protect the lowest grades of the Agenda for Change from Income Tax and NI hikes.
