Stop businesses from acting immorally towards staff in times of crisis.
Laws must be put in place to deter/punish businesses for acting immorally towards their staff in times of crisis. For example the whetherspoons chain fired the majority of employees during the corona virus pandemic.
Money is very important to people's survival. If businesses are allowed to carry out mass firings in times of crisis they are putting their countrymen & economy in further danger.
When it is extremely difficult for people to find other work or it would be dangerous to do so it is not enough for the government to offer 80% of wages. Businesses are not actively discouraged from firing/making people redundant.
This is a kick 'em while they're down attitude that should not be tolerated.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you'd like to improve employment rights, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
