Petition Action

Urgently review tattoo parlour allowance to open soon.

Petition Details

Urgently review tattoo parlour opertating allowances as part of repealing of lockdown. Whether its allow them to open on July 4th like Hair Salons, or some time soon.

Additional Information

Tattoo studios have always been hygiene orientated. They deal with cross contamination daily, have used gloves, sanitisers and sterile practice.
Many studios had begun measures to be even safer than before.
So many may now have to close. People will loose their places of work and income.
Please revisit the judgement on this large part of the retail industry.
I as a client of many wonderful artists and creatives feel this decision has not been looked at with the correct scrutiny. There is a huge culture and demand for tattoos and this decision could affect a big sector.
I urge the government to readdress this issue with some urgency.
Thank you.
