DRAIN THE BBC MOAT - Stop paying the BBC - STOP 100 million on diversity

Petition Details

The BBC needs to stop spending 100 million on diversity which is positive discrimination. An investigation into systematic liberal bias is needed. The BBC should reflect the conservative majority in this country.

Additional Information

The anti Trump, anti conservative bias is acute. An enquiry is needed to investigate systematic left wing and liberal bias in the BBC. Why is this public funded organisation allowed to push a liberal left agenda? Why doesn't the BBC reflect the political views of the country? This public body needs to be accountable to the people and should consider public votes on senior roles. All staff need to make a declaration stating their political allegiance to help POLITICAL diversity.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The BBC is already required to deliver impartial news by the "Royal Charter for the continuance of the British Broadcasting Corporation" and the "Agreement Between Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the British Broadcasting Corporation". It is therefore unclear what further action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

In any case, we would not be able to accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise.
