Maintain home fee status and access to Student Finance for EU students.
Parliament should backtrack on plans to remove home fee status from future EU students or risk causing irreversible damage to the UK's higher education profile around the world.
With the Brexit transition period supposed to be ending by the end of the year, EU citizens wanting to study here will no longer be entitled to access to Student Finance to get their fees covered and will have to pay £13500 per year. This decision will not only deter EU students but it will also weaken the UK's global profile as education and research pioneers. Not to mention the loss of much needed EU workers to help the NHS and other public services.
