Increase fines and penalties for littering
The deterrent for littering is not enough and not enforced enough. The recent aftermath of mass gatherings have displayed a terrible lack of social responsibility and there should be reasonable guards in place to prevent people assuming a lack of consequence for littering.
Penalties should be increased. Enforcement should be more highly prioritised and enacted. And community service included as a penalty for non-payment of fines or habitual offence.
