Petition Action

Make littering an on the spot fine/community service, put on permanent record.

Petition Details

Parliament or local governments should vote to allow police/ PCSOs to fine and record names of people littering in any area. There should be a more serious and permanent deterant to discourage selfish and uncivilised behaviour.

Additional Information

The country is being vandalised on a daily basis by people in all walks of life. Litter destroys natural beauty spots and also casts an ugly shadow on residential and public areas. People and animals have the right to live in a safe and clean envrionment/community. Litter is bio hazard and genuine threat to people safety. During the Covid-19 crisis mental and physical health is more important than ever If people cannot have safe environments to exist/reflect in it will only have negative impacts
