Remove Winston Churchill from the Five pound bank note

Petition Details

We want the Government to remove Winston Churchill from the five pound bank note because he was a racist man and having a racist figure being used in British money only promotes racism.

Additional Information

People of colour- black people in particular- suffer from racism in many different ways including our system, which is supposed to protect us and give us equal rights regardless of skin colour.
Winston Churchill had concentration camps in Kenya so white colonial settlers could get fertile highlands.
As a diverse nation, we should not be idolising Winston Churchill and ignoring his racist past.
