Raise the fine for littering on beaches to £1000
I would like the government to enforce £1000 fines for anybody that litters on beaches. Plastic waste polluting the sea has become an increasing problem worldwide. The recent displays of public ignorance should not go unnoticed in order to keep our planet clean.
I believe the enforcement of £1000 fines for littering on beaches will deter most people from leaving waste scattered across the sand and raise awareness of these thoughtless actions.
