Make LGBTQIA+ conversion therapy illegal in the UK
Through this petition I want to achieve the following:
•Make it a criminal offence for anyone to try and or attempt conversion therapy on anyone in the LGBTQIA+
•Not allowing groups to promote conversion therapy
•Safeguarding the LGBTQIA+ community by introducing new legislation
Recent groups on social media have been promoting conversion therapy to the LGBTQIA+ community. Being gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual and or how you identify is NOT a choice. Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community this deeply sickens me, and the government needs to take action to revoke this sickening “treatment”.
