Repeal or revise section 127 of the Communications act 2003.
In its current form, a person is guilty of an offense if (s)he:
Sends a message or other matter that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character
"Grossly offensive" and "obscene" are subjective terms which should be removed
Freedom of speech is the foundation of a functioning society. Policing "offense" (Which is entirely subjective) is against the ideals of free speech.
There are issues of interpretation (who decides what is offensive or obscene) and issues of political manipulation (making certain topics taboo to discuss, thus "offensive", thus illegal.)
We have already seen multiple victims of this authoritarian legislation, sentenced of a crime for telling jokes, or quoting song lyrics with "offensive" words.
