Stop wasting tax payer millions by cancelling projects.
Millions of pounds are being wasted by local councils and central government following elections where political control changes.
Projects initiated by the outgoing party and councillors are frequently cancelled by the incoming party.
This occurs regardless of the cost to the tax payer in both financial terms and wasted time of civil servants and council employees.
There should be a debate to decide whether projects should be completed, regardless of which party initiated the project where funds have been committed and the business case for initiating the project remains valid.
