Petition Action

For businesses unable to return to work due to COVID 19 to be exempt from fees

Petition Details

For businesses unable to return to work due to COVID 19 to be exempt from paying national insurance, pension and to extend the job retention scheme to those who will be forced to say on furlough i.e Beauty/nail Salons/Spas
Extend furlough of 80% to Beauty salons unable to return to work by August.

Additional Information

Not being able to open and benefit from trade means no funds to top up the percentage contributions for staff on furlough. Without income we also have no funds to pay employees pension or national insurance. The beauty industry is a multi billion pound industry and we can play a significant part in kick starting the economy. As a salon owner this time has very stressful, we are unable to open and have not been given an expected date or even a review date. We are unable to plan reopen due to this
