Stop the Suspension of The Zip card for under 18s
Debate the current plan to scrap free travel for under 18s in London, as part of the TFL Bailout scheme.
As a teenager growing up in London, the zip card broadened my horizons massively. I could access education, friendship and culture that wasn't available in my local borough. This policy is to allegedly avoid overcrowding on the bus, however it quite clearly targets the most vulnerable in our society. Children have already been stripped of their right to see their friends at school during this pandemic their travel should not be sacrificed for financial gain
