Many Local Councils are introducing charges for collecting garden waste. A knock-on effect of this could be that people will put their garden waste in the normal dustbin, or dispose of the waste illegally.

Additional Information

Councils should be required to collect garden waste for free, so that people are able to dispose of this waste without incurring any extra costs.
