Allow the public to attend inquiry hearings in person while socially distancing
The people deserve the right to attend the inquiry hearings in person. They deserve to hold those responsible accountable. Allow them access to the public hearings in the same way you have allowed businesses to reopen.
For example, survivors, families of victims and residents have not been allowed to attend the official Grenfell inquiry hearings due to social distancing rules. They have only been able to watch online. How does the Government see fit to reopen bars, restaurants and other non-essential businesses, while denying the victims of this horrible tragedy to right to attend the inquiry in person?
