Encourage world industries to reduce pollution

Additional Information

The Government should discourage UK and EU companies from trading with companies causing dangerous pollution.

For example, Ukraine Environmental Minister, Victor Boyko, (in 2010)

"The Ministry of Environment supports public concern in the city Zaporozhye about industrial air pollution .. which account for approximately 90% of emissions from the total for the whole city. The following were named:-

"Zaporizhstal, Inc. " Zaporizhia Ferroalloy Plant OJSC, "Zaporozhye aluminum manufacturing plant", JSC "Zaporizhzhya abrasive plant", JSC "Zaporizhkoks, DNEPROSPETSSTAL

The same publication reports:
"Residents Zaporozhye breathe hydrogen sulfide, and phenol. hydrogen sulphide - 1.6 times the maximum permissible concentration, phenol - 1.7 times the maximum permissible concentration, carbon disulfide - 2.0 times the maximum permissible concentration."
