Honour for all
Whilst wanting to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee, it seems many men and women who have served their Queen and country, and indeed for the hundreds that have lost their lives, will NOT be being homoured to receive the special commemorative medal, because they are not currently serving members of the armed forces. This is disgusting. Everyone who has served since the Queen ascended the throne should be eligible. For those who have sadly died, their loved ones should receive the medal in their honour. I want the Ministry of Defence and the Government to overturn the current eligibility criteria to include ALL armed forces members, both current and past
