Petition Action

Reform of assessment methods at GCSE and A Level

Additional Information

We want the Government to change the way people are assessed when undertaking GCSE and A Level (Level 2/3) courses.

We do not want students to be examined in the traditional manner, rather we want students to submit a portfolio of work which is marked externally as exams are at present.

We want the assessments to focus more on application of knowledge than on simply knowing the subject matter.

We want this to become something which is enforced across the whole of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
