Make it easier for Caribbean people to move and settle in the UK.
I would like the Government/Parliament to make it easier and less restrictive for people from the Caribbean, especially those countries that are in the Commonwealth to move, live and work in the UK permantly.
We share culture, language and deep history.
Modern Britain was built of the proceeds of slavery and of the back of Caribbeans.
Caribbean people after slavery fought and died in WW1/WW2. Then came to the UK to rebuild the country, they did the work that the country needed to thrive, they worked in the civil service, NHS and transport.
After this many that generation were faced with deportation, it was a scandal..the Windrush scandal.
It is time to right this wrong and build a new modern post Brexit relationship with the Caribbean.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you'd like to make it easier for Carribean people to move the UK, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to change.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
