Women to have TWO birthing partners during birth and partners to attend scans
Allow women the rights to have TWO birthing partners and enable partners to able to attend scans.
Scotland have now informed that women can have TWO partners to birth and partners can attend scans.
Considering they were behind on opening businesses compared to england why are we not following?
Women and men have rights to have the best possible birth experience. Priorities for our country have gone out of the window. You can now go most places with ease but can not be supported at birth, a one time experience you can not experience again.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Individual hospitals and clinics, not the UK Government or House of Commons, decide who can attend births, scans and antenatal appointments.
You should check with your maternity team and sonography unit for their policy on who can attend births, antenatal appointments, including scans.
