Review the efficacy of the Met police's safety record in the last 15 years.
The safety of the general public throughout London has seemed to be in serious decline in recent years. There's a growing need for the Met police to be held accountable for their lack of action to control citizen's safety. This needs to be evaluated and addressed through changes in leadership.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Policing in the capital is the responsibility of the Mayor of London, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
If you are concerned about the efficacy of the Metropolitan Police you could start a petition about this with the London Assembly: www.london.gov.uk/about-us/london-assembly/petitions
