Petition Action

change the predicted grades as a result of online exams

Petition Details

Beaconsfield high school conducted online ucas exams, which determine the future of their year 12 students, however this is unfair and unlawful

Additional Information

they had no practice or training for them so it is unfair to make such a decision when they were not prepared at all. However other schools in the local area decided that online exams were not suitable so decided to postpone them until September

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

UCAS predicted grades are the responsibility of teachers and individual schools or colleges, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You may wish to raise this issue directly with the school, or the governing body.
