Limiting Facebook access to adults only
We the undersigned ask the Government to debate the issue of Facebook access for minors.
We believe Facebook to be an unsuitable web service for those under the age of 18 for several reasons:
1) Privacy
2) Personal Safety
3) Inappropriate Content
As such, we call upon the Government to impose a 'no minors' rule on Facebook access from the United Kingdom.
We further call for penalties to be levied against parents who allow their children to sign up for Facebook in contravention of this age limit.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
