Petition Action

Make face masks mandatory in pubs, bars, restaurants when not sat at a table.

Petition Details

For public health masks or face coverings need to be mandatory when entering, exiting, paying, or moving around pubs, bars, and restaurants. For obvious reasons wheb sat at a table customers will be able to remove their coverings.

Additional Information

All the hard work the government and the public have done, and continue to do will begin to be undone by regular visits to pubs bars and restaurants. This will also not deter customers already visiting pubs and restaurants but it will build confidence in the public who are unsure about visiting these public spaces.
Also as face coverings it seems protects not so much the wearer but others this is the most effective way of protecting service industry staff.
