INvolve report 2107
The report demonstrated the continued lack of diversity in UK boardrooms, indicating the problem is visible in both the FTSE 100 & FTSE 250 - representing the largest firms in the UK. The cost of the failing is estimated at a loss to the UK economy of approx £2.6bn
Make it mandatory for employers to publish and report specific figures about gender pay gap on their public facing website & to government. Building a fairer economy means ensuring UK industry and its organisations reflect the nation’s diversity from factory floor to boardroom. Introducing these measures will firmly place accountability on UK Industry to continue to close the door on disparity providing valuable insights to view how well organisations are performing to meet these targets.
