teach about balkans in uk schools
In school, most people and staff do not know how to pronounce names of the people from the Balkans. They ask me 'where are you from' I reply 'l am from Kosovo' and most of the time they would say 'where is that' which shows that they don't even know most of the countries in this world.
I would like the government or parliament to at least start making a change in this. To start teaching students more about the balkans than just the nazi's that we learn every year. Hopefully, this will happen!
