Remove social distancing restrictions for children under 11 in England
Allow children under 11 to be children and play and interact with each other, which is vital to ensure their basic development.
Toddlers, who are unable to social distance, are not allowed any social interaction and haven't done for 4 months, a significant chunk of their lives.
Many other countries dropped social distancing for under 11s months ago and saw no increase in transmission rates.
Current data has found no transmissions between child or from child to adult.
Toddlers are missing the window of opportunity to develop vital social skills in order to progress in their general development.
Children under 11 need to play to develop and cannot play 2 metres apart.
Families of children under 11 remain isolated as they are unable to adhere to the restrictions.
